Eugenia “Jeannie” Lathan-Churchill is a financial-planning professional, community advocate, educator, and enthusiastic gardener who believes healthy living begins with simple, sustainable habits.

Financial Planning
Throughout her career, Jeannie has helped individuals and families understand complex financial matters and make thoughtful decisions about their futures. She brings extensive experience in financial planning, client service, operations, and regulatory compliance within the wealth-management industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, has completed the CFP® educational requirements, and holds the Series 65 license and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation.
Beyond her professional work, Jeannie has a longstanding passion for teaching, mentoring, encouraging others, and sharing practical knowledge. Gardening is one of the ways she promotes healthy living, connecting people with nature, physical activity, nutritious food, patience, and personal responsibility. She especially enjoys helping children experience the excitement of planting seeds, watching them grow, and understanding where food comes from.
As a board member of Save Our Youth Fitness for Life, Jeannie hopes to support programs that introduce young people and families to gardening as an enjoyable pathway to movement, wellness, nutrition, and lifelong healthy habits. She believes every young person deserves encouragement, useful knowledge, and the opportunity to grow—both in the garden and in life.
